Biography: Indigo Regalado Mota is a 25-year-old non-binary Afro-Dominican illustrator based in Paris, France. Their work primarily explores themes of identity, culture, and memory. Working mainly on paper, Indigo creates illustrations with a strong influence from fine art, utilizing a variety of mixed media materials such as watercolor ink and gouache. Their pieces are known for their rich texture and vibrant colors. Drawing inspiration from their Dominican heritage, pop culture, and queer media, they bring a unique and dynamic perspective to their art.
